Yeah you read that title right, these nails are inspired by something you would probably consider very uninspiring: porridge. Inspiration really can be found in the strangest of places!
I have porridge every day for breakfast at work, and I've stared at the Moma* packets sitting on my desk for weeks without realising that my next inspiriation lay right in front of me... turns out it can strike when you least expect! So when Moma asked me to team up with them, I knew that it would work because not only are their packets are so bright and colourful, but it's also a product I enjoy and wouldn't mind sharing with you all.
I used Barry M - Need For Speed as my base, and then I did the city scape with Barry M - Slip Stream and a cut down detailing brush from eBay (blogging life isn't all glam!). The pink is Barry M - Pink Punch, and the yellow is OPI - The IT Colour on top of white, and the white is Barry M - Cotton. Finished with a coat of Barry M - Matte Topcoat.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

This is one of the best manicures I've seen in a long time.
ReplyDeleteIt seems simple (even though it's not), but interesting at the same time.
