Gelish Sweetheart Squadron Collection [Partial] Review + Swatches

Hey everyone! I've been getting used to being back at work after a nice relaxing week off work, so I'm feeling pretty exhausted today. Luckily I have a 4 day weekend coming up so I only have one more day of work before more relaxation!

Today I have a couple of the shades from the new Gelish Sweetheart Squadron collection to show you. The whole collection is gorgeous but I have Looking For A Wingman* and Up In The Air-Heart*  reviewed for you today. It's such a great collection for autumn, and there's a shade for everyone in there. Full review after the jump.

Looking For A Wingman* is a gorgeous burgundy shade. I had a few problems with this creasing under the light, no matter how thin I applied it. I spoke to Georgie from Nail Harmony UK and she told me that the best way to get past this is by warming the bottle up first as gel reacts better when it's warm. I needed 3 thin coats for full coverage.

Up In The Air-Heart* is an unlikely favourite gelish shade of mine I think. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do but it's such a gorgeous colour and it would be perfect for some gingerbread nails or other autumnal design (which I'm sure you'll see at some point). This was 2 coats.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I had the same problem with Looking For a Wingman! I was actually looking for swatches today to see if anyone else had problems with the formula!
