Daisy Dixon Rose Gold Floral Nail Art

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend, I spent mine exploring the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and eating ice-cream in the unusually warm weather. It was nice to have a whole day relaxing and not having to think about anything. Normally I spend Sundays doing all the washing (it's boring being an adult sometimes), but our washing machine is currently broken so I managed to escape that task for this week. In my review of Gelish - Last Call I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to resist using it again, and it seemed like the perfect colour to use for this nail art inspired by this Daisy Dixon watch*. Daisy Dixon recently contacted me and asked if I would like to pick out a watch from their collection, and of course I said yes. It took me a while to decide which I wanted as there are so many to choose from on their site, but I eventually decided on the Chloe White Floral Print watch*, mainly because I knew it would work so well for nail art.

Although the watch is rose gold on the outside, it's more of a coppery rose gold than Last Call, but I wanted to use it again, and it still works pretty well alongside the watch.

You can purchase the watch here for £45, which is a great price for such a lovely watch. The watch came packaged in a pink and white box (as you can see on the site) and was covered in protective layers so there's no chance of it getting damaged in the post. It's great quality and will be a great accessory for summer.

The watch has this gorgeous delicate flower design on the face and I wanted to recreate it as best I could. I've been trying to improve my stamping recently and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try again. The only problem was finding a stamping plate that matched, but luckily this MoYou plate came to my rescue. I thought the design would match the watch really well, and I love how they turned out.

For the nails I used a base of Gelish - Last Call, then I used Barry M - Cotton for the white. For the stamping design I used MASH - Black and MoYou Pro XL 06 plate. Finished with Seche Vite topcoat
