Hey everyone! I had such a lovely weekend away, me and my boyfriend went to Chester for the weekend and went to the zoo. Not everyone's ideal weekend but perfect for us, I'm sad to have to come back and accept that the next few weeks are just going to be a slog of dissertation work. I'm on the final push now, despite a mini-breakdown last week, so fingers crossed that it all goes to plan. Today's nails are these simple mod flowers. I've been surprised at how many comments I've got on these in the past couple of days of wearing them, I didn't think they were that interesting but it appears that they stand out a lot more than I thought! I've also done a tutorial for you all so you can create these yourself
I used Avon - Pastel Pink as the base and then the flowers are Avon - Orange Crush, Avon - Limoncello and Avon - Parfait Pink
Step 1: Paint your nails with a base of Avon - Pastel Pink
Step 2: Using Avon Parfait Pink and a dotting tool draw flowers spaced over your nails. you only need 1-2 per nail. Draw 4-5 dots in a circle and fill in the middle for the flowers
Step 3: Repeat this with Avon - Limoncello and Orange Crush
Step 4: Using Avon - Liquorice and a small nail art brush or toothpick, add black dots to the centre of your flowers
Step 5: Add a topcoat to seal in your design once dry, and you’re done!
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
