Hey everyone! Are you all impressed that I've managed to post three days in a row? We all know how awful I've been recently, so I'm even shocking myself, let's hope I can keep it up until Sunday. Today's post is the three polishes Barry M released last autumn to add to their regular collection, and is again one of the reviews I didn't realise I hadn't posted!

Review Week, Day 2: Kiko Daring Game Nail Polish
Hey everyone! Today's review is another that I was shocked to find I hadn't posted. I know I'm ditzy but losing 5 full reviews among my many (I thought previously quite well organised) folders on my laptop is a new one for me! These are two of the Poker nail polish shades from the Kiko 2014 Daring Game collection. You've seen a few of the make up bits here and there in my monthly favourites (which I'll hopefully be bringing back this month for anyone wondering) but I've neglected the nail polishes entirely, which is odd for me, what with me having a nail art blog ... I'm such a fool sometimes. I was really impressed with these polishes, they're not expensive but the packaging is great (for everything in the Daring Game collection, not just the polishes) and they're really great quality.

Review Week, Day 1: Nicole by OPI - Roughles Collection
Hey everyone! Apologies for the big gap in-between posting, it's been a busy week this week and I also just wanted to focus on myself a bit as I've been feeling quite stressed recently. I intended to do a week of reviews from Monday-Friday but unfortunately didn't have the chance so I'm going to do my best to do it Wednesday - Sunday instead but if not it might overrun into next week. It's been a while since I posted a review, and when I was sorting through my files on my laptop last week I realised I have a lot of unpublished reviews which I thought I had posted, like these pictures from the Nicole by OPI Summer 2014 Roughles collection! I definitely swore quite loudly when I came across the folder and realised I'd never posted them, so now is the time.

Argyle Nail Art for Avon
Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a good week so far. I'm feeling quite productive this week. Even though, admittedly, I took the fact that it was a snow day today a bit too far and just sat around in my pajamas all day, I did manage to get a bit of work done, and I hope to have my second essay finished tomorrow so I can finally get started on my dissertation research. Today's nails are something a bit brighter, I've been using a lot of dark colours recently, except for in my snowflake nails, and I felt like it might be time for a change! Argyle wasn't something I'd tried before, so when Avon suggested it as a possible design idea I jumped at the opportunity to try something out of my comfort zone (I hate using a striping brush!), and I don't think it went too badly.

Green Glitter Bows
Hey everyone! Hope your Blue Monday hasn't been too blue! I worked this morning and finished my essay this afternoon so I've had quite a productive day. I'm going to try and do my nails before I go out in an hour so fingers crossed I manage to do it! Today's design is one I've done before, but it's so simple and effective that I've wanted to do it again for a while. Luckily we decided to do it at nail art society a few weeks ago so I got to teach everyone how do to do it. I have a tutorial here for those of you who also want to learn.

It's SO COLD
Hey everyone! Its been a bit of a mix of a week for me, filled with essay writing, working, and ... my 21st birthday! Yesterday was my birthday, and I had such a good day, I'll be continuing the celebrations this weekend (and the weekend after) but right now I'm going to stay holed up inside my house because it's absolutely freezing outside... literally. There's also crazy winds at the moment which make me wish I didn't have to drive a 60 mile round trip to work every day (which weirdly enough I don't usually mind!). I thought therefore, that it would be a good time to post these snowflake nails I created just before christmas using the LE Victoria Beckham Nails Inc polishes. I'm lucky that I've got a few things to post still from before christmas, because I haven't actually painted my nails in over a week! I know, shock horror. I just haven't had any time, all my free time is taken up writing essays and my dissertation. But I made a resolution that I'm going to get better at blogging, and that definitely includes painting my nails more often, so I'm hoping to find the time to get back into it once I move back to my uni house.

Simple Red Carpet Nail Art
Hey everyone! Incase you hadn't heard, the Golden Globes are tonight, so I thought I'd do some quick and simple red carpet nails in collaboration with Avon to show you that you don't need to do a complicated design to be red carpet ready. Sometimes less is more! All you need is a dotting tool (or even just a hairgrip) to create these.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

Winter Plaid for Avon
Hey everyone! Today I have some simple plaid nails to show you. I know these nails are a bit christmassy, especially because of the colours, but I wanted to post them on here anyway because I never got a chance before Christmas. Sorry that it's such a quick post today, I have to be up in 6 hours for work!

Red Daisies
Hey everyone! I feel like I've been posting a lot of dark coloured designs recently so I decided it was time for something a bit more fun. These are some daisy nails that I created at nail art society a few months ago but completely forgot I had photographed until I was digging around in my folders earlier, so they seem a bit summery probably but it's always good to have a few bright designs here and there!

Disco Squares for Barry M + Tutorial
Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a good 2015 so far, I'm feeling motivated so far but we all know how often new years resolutions fall through. My resolutions are to work harder on my blog, work harder at uni, and to make the most of every opportunity I get this year. Can I stick to them? We shall see! Today's nails are some simple glitter squares I created for Barry M, and I've also got steps at the bottom of the post so you can create them too.

Nailvengers assemble: New Years nail art for Tesco
Hey everyone! Two posts in one day, but I must admit these are probably my favourite nails of the two. New years eve is all about the sparkle and I love the glitter on these nails combined with the black and white of the clock. When the clock strikes midnight tonight I hope to be having the time of my life, and I honestly can't wait to see what 2015 will bring me. I'll be graduating from university, and stepping out into the big scary world of work, so a lot will change! Don't forget to check out what Sammy, Allie, and Lucie created for this month's Nailvengers Assemble.
Step 1: Paint your nails with glitter
Step 2: Using white nail polish and a nail art brush (or nail art pen) draw a white circle on your nail
Step 3: Using a black nail art pen or black nail polish and a nail art brush draw a black outline around your circle
Step 4: Using black and a tiny nail art brush add the numbers to your clock. this is quite fiddly so if you prefer you could just add 12, 3, 6 and 9
Step 5: Add the clock hands (both of 12 of course!)
Step 6: Add a topcoat to seal in your design
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
