World Cup Final Nail Art for Barry M + Tutorial

Hey everyone! Now that the World Cup is over I have one last football design to show you, and hopefully that will be it for a very very long time! We all know I'm not a huge fan of football, and World Cup mania has only exacerbated it, BUT it has been a chance to create some nail art that I wouldn't usually do, and that's never a bad thing. Today's tutorial is another in collaboration with Barry M, and it's my last one! I'm a bit sad because I've loved showing you all the designs I created, but I'm sure there will be more in the future. These are really simple to create, so hopefully you'll all be able to have a go at doing them!

I also wanted to announce the winners of my Yoo Moo giveaway, they are: Lynsey B, Kim N, and Kerry Locke. Unfortunately I had to disqualify a number of 'winners' because they weren't in the UK and did not read the terms and conditions. However, I will be having an international giveaway very shortly, so keep an eye out for that!

I used Barry M - Waikiki as the base, plus the Black + White Barry M nail art pens, and Barry M - Matt White

Steps:
Step 1: Paint your nails with a base colour of Barry M – Waikiki
Step 2: Using the brush from the nail polish bottle, draw white circles at the edge of your nail(s)
Step 3: Using a black nail art pen or Black with a nail art brush draw hexagons on your white circles and fill in
Step 4: Using a dotting tool and Matt White space out dots across your nail
Step 5: Using a black nail art pen or Black with a nail art brush draw tiny hexagons within the white dots, these don’t need to be perfect as they’re so tiny, you could even just do dots
Step 6: Finish off with a topcoat to seal in your design

What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Great design! I'm glad the world cup is over too but for some reason I didn't mind it this year, I ended up watching a lot of the matches! Waikiki is the perfect base and the tutorial is really useful too! :)
