Hey everyone! It's the end of the month so that means a brand new Nailvengers Assemble post. Dont forget to check out Allie over at Brit Nails, Sammy at The Nailasaurus, Lucie at Lucy's Stash and Amelia at xameliax to see what designs they came up with! You can also like our Facebook page for updates. This month's theme is 'Untrieds' and as I have quite a stash of polishes to review building up I decided to use some of them. I've been wanting to use the Sally Hansen nail art pens ever since I received them, and the Rita Ora Rimmel London polishes have been catching my eye too so I combined the two for a simple floral design.

Rimmel London Sweetie Crush Nail Polish Collection Swatches and Review
Hey everyone! Today I have a brand new review for you. I've been meaning to post this for a few days but I just haven't had time to write it, I'm back at uni now and absolutely swamped with work, but I'm doing my best to balance it with my blog I promise. Today's review is the gorgeous Rimmel London Sweetie Crush collection. A month or so ago I received an amazing package from Rimmel (with some gorgeous biscuits inside), and this collection was one of the many treats included. There was also all their recent Rita Ora polishes, some of which you'll see over the next couple of weeks.

Barry M Superdrug 50th Birthday Limited Edition Polish
Hey everyone! I've been quite delayed showing you this polish I know but I wanted to show you with some nail art and as you know until a few days ago I hadn't done any in a week or so! Anyway, I really liked the roses from my St George's Day nails, so I decided to combine the two. They're probably more suited to valentines day but nonetheless I really like them and I wore these for 4 whole days (shocker).
I used 2 coats of Birthday Nail Paint and it's super easy to apply, I didn't need any placement. This is with 1 coat of Seche Vite as well.
This is of course Limited Edition so if you want it I'd grab it quickly, it's already been out a while. You can find it here for £2.99 which is a good price considering it's limited edition.

St Georges Day Nail Art
Hey everyone! Can you believe it? I'm posting 2 days in a row! I guess it makes up for my lack of posting last week. So today in England is St Georges Day, which for those of you who dont know is the national day for England (although unfortunately it's not a holiday so we don't get a day off!). I've teamed up with Avon again to bring you some St George's Day nails and I really like how they came out, this is the first time I've managed anything near a realistic looking rose!
To create the flags I painted 2 coats of Avon - Real Red, and once that was dry I used striping tape to mark out a cross and then I used Avon - White over the top. Then I finished off with a coat of Seche Vite to seal in the design
For the roses I used Avon - White for the base, then I used Avon - Noir Emerald for the stem of the rose, and Avon - Real Red for the flower itself, mixed with Avon - White and Avon - Black, and again topped off with a coat of Seche Vite

Tutorial Tuesday: Simple Daisies
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a lovely relaxing Easter. As I mentioned before I was working the whole weekend but it was still enjoyable and as always a good excuse to eat chocolate and not feel bad about it! Today I have another tutorial tuesday that I created for Divine Caroline to show you: Daisies. I feel a bit irritated with myself for not having outlined these to make them stand out more, because I dont think the pictures show the flowers up too well, but I just didnt have the time. But you can always outline them if you'd prefer with a thin brush and black nail polish/acrylic paint. Don't forget to check out the full tutorial here with more information!

And check out the full tutorial here (for those people who just skipped to the bottom and didn't read what I said!)

Happy Easter!
Hey everyone, happy easter! I hope you're all eating your bodyweight in chocolate. Eat some extra for me because I have to work all day! Today I have some more cute easter nails for you, which I created in collaboration with Avon. They're pretty typical easter nails with a cute chick and bunny, but I really like how they turned out.
For these nails I used Avon - Savage, Avon - Pastel Pink, and Avon - Lemon Sugar for the stripes, which I did just using the brushes from the bottles. Then I used Avon - Pastel Pink, Avon - Lemon Sugar, Avon - Black, Avon - White and Avon - Sahara Sunset for the chick. For the bunny I used Avon - Savage, Avon - White, Avon - Black and Avon - Pastel Pink.
That's a lot of colours I know but if you want any of them you can find them here.

Nude Roses
Hey everyone! I'm back! I really needed a break from my blog whilst I got my head together, it wasn't a very good week for me and I wasn't really in the mood for blogging much so I'm really sorry about that. I'm hopefully going to be posting a few times this week so keep an eye out. Today's post is some nail art I created for my university nail art society, which you can read more about here. I was teaching everyone how to do a simple rose design but I ended up winging it a bit more whilst I was waiting for people to finish and I really liked how it turned out! I almost feel like it's cheating posting designs from nail art society on here, maybe because they weren't created specifically for the blog, but they're still designs I did and of course I still want to share them, so here you go!
Because we're sponsored by Barry M, all the colours except the white are by them, so you can find them all on their website here. The white is Graffiti Nails which you can find here.

Graffiti Nails - Swatches Part 3
Hey everyone, sorry for not posting for a few days, I was working all weekend and now I'm having a few personal issues, and so I'm not going to promise that the schedule is going to get any better at the moment, but I'll do my best! I'm really sorry if not. This post alone has taken me more than 48 hours to pluck up the courage to write. But today I have the final part of my Graffiti Nails review, and I know you've all been looking forward to it so I couldn't put it off. The colours today are Jet, Ice White, Mellow, Deep Red and Morning Mist, and you can get them all on the Graffiti Nails website for £3.99 if you're in the UK, and if you buy 3 then postage is free!

Tutorial Thursday: Daisy Rhinestones for Divine Caroline
Hey everyone! I accidentally forgot to post Tutorial Tuesday this week, but I really wanted to show you these nails so I decided to do Tutorial Thursday instead. [And Blogger decided to not post it when I asked, so it's actually Friday now, sorry!] This week's post is another Divine Caroline feature, so you'll have to head over there [here] for the full design and all the steps! The base for these nails was Graffiti Nails - Very Nude and I love it, although these photos make it look a bit peachier than it really is, you can see my full review of the polish here.
Don't forget to check out the full tutorial with all the information here.

Barry M Spring 2014 Aquarium Collection: Review and Swatches
Hey everyone! Today I have another gorgeous Barry M collection to show you. This one has been out for a couple of weeks, but that of course does not make it any less gorgeous! The collection consists of four duo-chromes and two glitter toppers, which, as you'll see below, I chose to pair with Huckleberry and Rosehip from the latest Gelly Hi Shine collection, and you can see my swatches of that here. I own very few, if any, duochromes, so I'm no expert in their application, but my lovely friend Allie from Brit Nails suggested that I try applying them over black for maximum effect, so I've decided to show you both with and without black.
