Hey everyone! Today I have another Deborah Lippmann review for you (you can see my previous ones here and here), this time it's Spring Buds* from the recent 2014 Spring Reveries collection, and I decided to create a bit of simple nail art to go alongside it. I didn't have much time to do these, or take pictures, but I still really like how they came out. I'll post more information and pictures after the jump
For these nails I used a base of Spring Buds* and then I used a thin brush to paint on Graffiti Nails - Silver Pearl, and once that was dry I painted Graffiti Nails - Ice White over the top, and I also used Ice White for the dots, done with a dotting tool. All finished off with a coat of Seche Vite
Spring Buds* is a gorgeous pistachio green. I've already shown you Blue Orchid and Tip Toe Through The Tulips from the Spring Reveries collection, and just like with those, I'm really impressed with this polish, this was just 2 thin coats, and I had no difficulty at all. It's also a pretty unique colour which is why I thought it would be great for nail art, it reminds me a bit of Essie - Navigate Her but I think Spring Buds is a bit brighter. You can get Spring Buds here on the Deborah Lippmann website and here on Look Fantastic for anyone outside America.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
