Happy halloween everyone! I just have a quick pumpkin design today, I'm sorry that there aren't any more pictures of this, I originally intended for it to be a tutorial for a website but it didn't work out, so I only got pictures of my hand in the 'claw' I'm afraid.
I used Barry M - Block Orange and then mixed it with Barry M - Matt White for the highlights. Which I also used for the base colour. And the green is O.P.I but I left it at home so I can't tell you which, oops!
To create this design I painted my nails a solid based of white (2 coats) and then used the brush from the orange to create the pumpkin shape. Then I used a small brush for the highlights and stems (if that what they're called?!)
There's not much more to say about this because it's such a simple design but I hope you like it! I should have a great post coming up for you tomorrow hopefully though, see you then!

Striping practice
Hey everyone! So today I have an experimental kind of design for you. The wonderful Algae Veronica recently sent me some polishes (as I showed on my instagram @onenailtorulethemall) and one of them has been something I have lusted over for a very long time - Essie 'navigate her' so of course the second I got it I had to use it, but I also really wanted to practice my brush skills. Up until about 4 months ago I had never (!!!) used a brush for my nail art, every single design was done with dotting tools, so it's been difficult for me to build up the confidence to use a brush. It sounds stupid I know, but I'm always worried that it will flick out or go splodgy and ruin my design, and this sometimes does happen, so I'm often over-cautious with my designs and I dont want to be, so I know I need practice. But this time around I wanted to practice my striping skills, so here you go, everything here except the base colour was done with a medium length striper brush or a black striper.
I used Essie - Navigate Her, Art Deco Stripers in white and black and an unnamed pink from Boots, along with a medium length striper brush

P.S sorry for the bad quality photos, the weather was awful and I was in a rush, but I shall soon have my lightbox ready to go (yay!) and pictures should be better from then on

Frankenstein-ish nails
Hi everyone! So today I have a quick mani I did to just try out an idea, I also wanted to experiment with lighting and stuff because my dad is building me a lightbox so that's why the pictures aren't very varied. These were meant to be based around frankenstein but my sister said they looked like barbed wire so I'll leave it up to you to decide! Hope you like them :)
I used China Glaze - Electric Pineapple as a base and used a small brush to paint the black acrylic paint, topped with a coat of Rimmel's Matte top coat I dont know why the pictures came out so green because they weren't so bright in reality!

Flowers and beads
Hey everyone, sorry (again) for the delay in posting, I do try to post every other day and at most every 3 days and that's really all it's been cos I've not been to sleep yet so in my head it is still Saturday and not 2am Sunday, though it's still Saturday in America so that's okay, haha.
Anyway, on to the nails! I was inspired to create these nails after seeing them (uncredited) on tumblr, but later found out that they were done by itsallnails, the original picture is at the bottom of the post :)
Hope you like them!

Glitter Gradients #2
So this is not what I intended these to look like, as I showed you in my Collection 2000 hot looks review post here 'Shimmy Shake' looks really good layered over black. So I thought that it would also be good for glitter gradients, oh how wrong I was. This must have been my 6th attempt because it was just too thick and it smudged instantly, with these I managed to get a picture before that happened but they still didnt last very long! Anyway, they still turned out okay-ish, but they just look like an other glitter gradient, rather than a super awesome layered one, hope you like them!

Onesies?
Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in posting, no excuses I'm just struggling to keep up! Posts should hopefully be a bit more regular now but we shall see :)
So today's nails were originally meant to be cardigans, but once they were finished I couldn't get the idea of them being pajamas out of my head, and then I realised what they really reminded me of: onesies!
For those of you who dont know what a onesie is I've included a picture at the bottom of the post! Hope you like them :)

What's that? A proper post?
Hello everyone! I'm sorry for being so absent recently, until I build a lightbox I can only take pictures when I'm at home which sucks so posts aren't going to be too regular until then. Probably every 3 days or so, hope that's okay. I should have a lightbox soon though!
So here are some simple nails I put together, hope you like them :)

Waves nail set
Hey everyone! Sorry for my lack of posts recently, its partly as a result of not being able to take pictures because the lighting is terrible (any tips on building a lightbox would be greatly appreciated, I dont really know what bulb to get etc) and because I have SO MUCH work, I totally underestimated how much I would have! So I'm sorry this is kind of a 'lazy' post, if I get enough work done tomorrow I should have another design up either then or Wednesday and that promised tutorial should emerge sometime next week! Now, onto the nails:
You may remember that I posted these nails during my 31 day challenge the other week. I really enjoyed doing them and liked the result and I was recently asked on my Facebook page if I would be willing to do a set of them, so I have and here you go, these are also available on my Etsy :)
