Mario nails! 2 nails in a week, you can tell I'm procrastinating! (MUST REVISE) I was so proud of these, but the stupid sunny weather (I'm joking I love the sun, but still) has given me reflections all over these, even in the shade and the photos dont do them justice! (hence why I've put so many up today)
There are way too many colours to list on here, but for all you who are interested the white background is Barry M 'matte white'

Matte makes things look cool
...I've also run out of normal top coat so matte was really my only option. Still, it looks cool right?
This totally started off as an intended polka dot design like this one or this one because I haven't done one for ages and I used to do them all the time. Well... that failed, mainly because of my choice of colours, I had the blue flowers and then I used those colours for the spots and it just looked stupid. So I changed it. I wanted a really impressive manicure because I was going to apply for jobs and I wanted to be remembered as the girl with the cool nails, but they ended up looking really childish and instead I'm just the girl who always says the wrong things, woop!
Anyway, enough of me rambling, these are the nails:

I also remembered that I keep forgetting to add which polishes I've used so here you go:
Blue background: Barry M - 'Blueberry'
Blue flowers: China Glaze - 'For Audrey'
Pink background: Rimmel - 'Pink Punk'
Pink flowers: unnamed polish from a set from Boots (from like 3 years ago)
And the white outlines are done in white acrylic paint :)

Cats
A few of my Tumblr followers might remember I did a set of these a while ago, based on a combination of designs by Wondernails and ThePolishedPerfectionist. Last night when I was trying to think of something quick and simple to do, I remembered how much I enjoyed doing these and so decided to recreate them on my own nails, hope you like them!

Generic rose and stripes design
Please don't hate me guys! I've been so bad at posting recently, I promise when my exams are over (22nd June) I will post LOADS. But for now I think one post a week is going to have to suffice. Sorry!
Anyway, here's a quick and simple rose and stripes design, but I actually really like it, I didn't think I liked stripers before this, but I think we'll be seeing a lot more stripes now (watch this space)
Base is No 7's 'Lucky Lilac' with white stripes from Art Deco nail stripers and pink flowers from unnamed nail polishes. The Green leaves are Models Own 'Lime green'

Mixin' it up
So, about a week ago I entered a competition that involved 'accent nails' but as I only found it late on I had to use an old design. However, it got me thinking and I decided to just mess around a bit and see what I came up with. I also wanted to do something simple because my exam revision is taking over my life. Well that failed... these were an absolute disaster. I bought a new top coat the other day and the lady was like 'yeah sure that'll be as good as seche vite'. Well, I doubt she's ever tried seche vite if that's the case, this is so runny that nothing sticks to the brush so you're pretty much dragging a dry brush over your nail (which of course smudges your lovely design) in the end I just got too angry and put the last drops of my seche vite over it. (I need some more!) Anyway, enough ranting here's the design, I'm sorry it's so long since the last post but like I said revision is just OTT at the moment :(
Oh, and my thumbs sore, hence the lack of photos of it :P
