$30 Born Pretty Store GIVEAWAY!

Hey everyone! Today I have my second giveaway for you. I was meant to post this 2 months ago (!!!) to celebrate having my blog for a year, but I've been SUPER unorganised, and for that I apologise. So this instead can be to celebrate June, and I will end the giveaway on my sister's birthday so that there is at least some form of celebration! This giveaway is kindly sponsored by Born Pretty Store, and I would like to give them a huge thankyou for doing this for my blog! I would also like to thank my wonderful friend Emily who designed my giveaway picture.

Giveaway rules:

  • Entrants must be 18 years or older, or have parental permission in order to enter
  • The winner will be chosen randomly using Rafflecopter, which uses random.org

  1. I love your nail arts, they are just such in inspiration! I just recreated your gradient-tribal-mani, so that would be one of my favs, but also your recent paisley one (although I'll never be able to do that, I'd love to see a tutorial on that!)

  2. Congrats on a year of successful blogging! :D I hope we will see you around for much longer than that from now on!
You wanted to know what my favorite blogpost is. Actually, that's really hard. Most of your nail art is quite unique and pretty! So I went to my inspiration folder and looked for one that I actually saved to my harddrive... and I found this one first:
    http://onenailtorulethemall.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/back-to-normality_20.html
I think you should just continue the way you blogged until now! :D

  3. I love all of your swatching blogs, because I like to see how colours and patterns look on a real person instead of a plastic mannequin hand or false nail!

  4. Although all your mani's are amazing, I'd have to say the Pac Man mani (the redo) was my absolute favorite:

Being new to nail art, I'd love to see tutorials. Thanks so much! =)

  10. I'm always curious to see what your next design is going to be. The one I like the best (at the moment) is your Rose Curtains (22 May 2013).

I'd love to see you do something geometric. Big fan of stripes, triangles, squares etc.

  15. First of all, I love how your nail art designs are always so interesting! It's extremely hard to choose a favourite post, but my current favourite has to be your Gradients and palm trees from May of this year.

I'd actually quite like to see some pictorials/ tutorials. As a complete novice, I'm still learning so seeing tutorials and pictorials everywhere helps me learn and draw naip-spiration :D

  16. Firstly I love all your nail art as I follow you on Instagram :) I really like your "Then and now week 16" design! I love floral/flower designs so that one is right up my street!! So yeah I'd like you to keep doing more floral/flower designs :)

  19. I absolutely adore the Monsters Inc nails. It is my ultimate favourite film so it made my day when I saw those. I can't wait till Monsters University comes out because I'm planning on doing those nails on opening night :)
I already love your nail art because of how original it. Your posts have started to make me realise I might actually be able to make my nails look nice for once.
I'd love to see a few more tutorials and possibly a problem shooter so a bit like 'If ........ happens, it probably means you've ....... so to prevent that you should .....' because sometimes I try nail tutorials and my nails look like they've been painted by a 5 year old :/

Also, if you do contact us, will that be email? I'm going on holiday from the 13th to the 24th of June so I'm worried I won't see who has won :S

I would like to see more step-by-step videos (beacause variation is good for health c;)

  26. It's really hard for me to choose a favorite post... I have to say my favorites are the ones with the unique design and you elaborate on the method. I love the swatches too, it keeps me on my toes to see which color is in trend :)

I think my favorite post has to be the Gradient Chevron and your nail rendition of Greed. :)

I'm not sure what can be improved since I think you're doing a great job already... But I always enjoy looking at your Then and Now, and I love more of your nail art than your product/new color review, so there can always be more of that?

  32. I simply couldn't choose a favourite post but I do love your swatch and review posts. It's great to get an idea of what a colour looks like on and not just in the bottle and you're constantly introducing me to new brands. As a total newbie to really doing anything with my nails it gives me a place to start branching out from.

I'd love to see more tutorials! I really like giving them a bash!

  33. My ultimate favorite nail art post that you've done is the Rob Ryan inspired Valentine nails. I'd never really heard of paper cutout art before that but the design you made based off of the coin bank you got was so cute and simplistic - in the best way possible. I loved how you could easily recognize the inspiration whilst still making it your own by changing colors and a bit of the concept. One day, I'll be able to paint that design on my nails as long as I continue to practice at it like I have been (:

So, in conjunction with my favorite post, I would actually like to see more inspired nail arts. I absolutely adore when nail art is designed with an inanimate object in mind. It's nice to see how the nail artist, you in this case, interprets the object into a wearable nail design!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hello! I loved the banana in pajamas nail art! I would like to see more of everything you do :)

  35. I love the precision of your designs and the fantastic photo quality. I also enjoy how you put art work on shorter nails, but the designs don't become altered or cramped. I enjoy pictorials, so that I may attempt something on my own. Thank You!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I love all your nail arts, so that it turned a bit challenging to choose my favorite post from this fantastic and inspiring nail blog.

I decided, and this is my fav post http://onenailtorulethemall.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/barry-m-lychee-nail-art.html , for the reason it was the first I saw, since I found your blog.

I instantly felt inspired and realized that a simple triangle could turn your plain painted nails into something more fashionable and chic. :)

(i'd love to win this giveway, and if it comes true, you can contact me by e-mail (ines.ferreirafonseca@gmail.com) or from my fb page. thank you! :3 )

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh wow.. my favourite post, that's so hard!! I would have to say I love all your Nail Art, however if hard pushed, I would have to say that my favourite type of posts are your 'Then and Now' posts.
Why you ask, simple. If you can go from taking alright pictures of a hobbie to creating something as amazing as this blog, then anyone even I can progress and create amazing things if I put in the practice! Its also nice to see the progress you've made in general and how you improve on things you've done before and change them slightly

  55. Hi! Greetings from Argentina! I'm always trying to copy your desings, wich always ends horribly haha! That's why i've decided to just admire them! ReplyDelete
  57. First off as a nail addict like myself your work is beautiful. I love all your nail posts. My favorite post is the rose curtains the design reminds me of the ncla nail wraps http://www.karmaloop.com/product/The-NCLA-x-Nailing-Hollywood-Aly-En-Vogue-Nail-Wrap/370392
which are 16 and I like your design because its hand painted. Plus 16 is too much for my budget haha in the future I'd like to see more nail posts and possible a pictorial/step by step of a design u create.

    ReplyDelete
  61. There are so many of your designs I love it's hard to decide! I eventually managed to narrow it down to two.

    Rose Curtains:
    http://onenailtorulethemall.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/rose-curtains.html

    &

    Heart Shaped Studs review:
    http://onenailtorulethemall.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/heart-shaped-studs-review.html

I have a weakness for pretty girly designs and colours and absolutely love yours! I also love the fact that you don't have extremely long nails so the designs you do are possible for people with shorter nails. There are a lot of nail art around is done on long nails and simply does not look as good on shorter nails!
(also love your tribal's as well. Some of the best I have seen!)

Keep up with the awesome work! :D XXX

  62. I love your roses and tribal prints! they are so good! I would love to see more of those two just so I can hopefully get a little better at doing them myself! Thanks! :)

  114. I can't pick a favourite because you are too freakin' talented. Every post on this blog has been simply genius. What can I say, but, you've nailed it (oh puns).
Though, if this was a gun-to-the-head scenario, I'd pick your cats themed nail art. As a future cat lady, maybe I'm biased. Plus it was really easy to recreate on my own nails. Thanks for the amazing giveaway.
